PFL – Week 6
Record last week- 11-3
Record for the season-
Panthers @ Saints-
The Panthers offense keeps rolling along, as they are
averaging 42 points a game over the last three. The Saints have
played everyone close all year, but I think the Panthers will
pull away at the end. Panthers by 13…
Steelers-- The Bengals roll in with a solid 4-1 record but
have gotten hit by the injury bug. Steelers tough opening
schedule continues, with back-to-back games with the Bengals
sandwiched by a bye week. Mixon should have a big day in this
game as the Bengals have the highest rushing average per game of
any team in the league, and the Steelers will need a strong game
from Bell to keep it close. Bengals by 4….
WFT @ Lions-
The lions broke into the win column last week, and The Football
Team continued to struggle. Lions flex some muscle in this one
and win by 10.
Jags@ Colts- In
what should be one of the two games of the week, two divisional
undefeated teams clash at Indy. The Texans and Coach KD finally
made the Jag defense look human last week, and Luck may continue
that trend. The Jags will need the deep passing attack Jones
showed against the Texans to keep this one close. Colts win at
the end by 3….
Bills @ Bears-
The Bears are reeling at 1-3 after a close loss to the Jets last
week. The BIlls tough schedule continues. Bears by 20…
Buc @ Ravens- The Bucs
have the highest per game yards gained average (492 yds) in the
league, and the improved but needing a win Ravens will have
their hands full coming off a bye week. The Bucs win big in this
one by 17.
Cowboys @ Giants-
Despite having the second highest YPG average in the league,
the Cowboys have stumbled out to a 1-3 start. The Giants have
won two in a row and defeated the Cowboys in the season opener.
This is a must win for Dallas to have any chance in the NFC
East. Cowboys by 11.
Packers @ 49ers-
The undefeated Pack travels to SF to take on a 2-2-1 49er
team. The Pack has one of the top 5 passing attacks in the
league, and will need to rely on that to get by Khalil Mack and
a stingy 49er defense. Pack stays unbeaten and wins by 7.
Rams @ Seahawks-
In the other game of the week candidate, the two undefeated
teams in the NFC West square off. The Seahawks have replaced the
Jags as the best defense in the PFL, allowing only 199 yards a
game. Josh Jacobs gives the Rams a strong ground attack, but
Todd Gurley is averaging 6.8 yards a carry this season. This one
will be fun and close, but the Seahawks win by 2.
Texans @ Raiders-
Raiders won their first game last week and have played all games
tight except the Rams. The Texans took the Jags down to the wire
last week despite an 18 for 43 passing performance by Wilson and
are still looking for their first win. I think they get it in
Oakland in a close one by 3.
Chiefs @ Dolphins-
this one would have been fun, but the Chiefs will be playing a
backup QB and the Dolphins are a little banged up also. The
Chiefs are also without WR Hill. The Dolphins are the class of
the league right now. Dolphins by 12…
Eagles @ Titans-
The Titans kept it close against the Colts, even with a 19 for
36 performance by Lance. They will need much better numbers to
beat a potent Eagles offense. Eagles by 17….
Browns @ Chargers-
The Browns ran into the Panthers last week to get their second
loss, and the Chargers lost a tough one against the Chiefs. This
one will be close, but I think Baker and the Boys pull this one
out late and win by 6.
