My CB Draft
My team is defiantly a Zone Team with the potential to go to man with rookie boost. The Awareness is there, the hope is there also. People thought it as strange when I went two MLBS in the draft last year and a year I went all TES. The idea of flooding a position some find odd, but its me.

Introductions to the Cardinals
We'd like to welcome our rookies to the great PFL league and to the Cardinals organization.
SS Matthias Farley Height 5'11"
College: Notre Dame Drafted 2.27
When I went trading this offseason, never did I imagine I would find a SS this good so late in the draft. So I basically traded for nothing. Like everyone keeps telling me, just trust things will fall to me. (maybe they have a point.)
Nice speed for a S, can play zone or man 2 man
Good jump to go against tall WRS.
Strength to play aggressive
I don't see a overwhelming weakness with this player..
CB Elijah Samuels 5'10"
College Maryland drafted 4.32
Elijah is a Zone Corner that could be good with the right conditions. He will need work on Awareness and a little luck with rookie boost to speed and acceleration could take Elijah to the next level.
Potential for good Speed(pending boost of 1 or more)
Awareness Needs tweaking but can be worked
Acceleration is sub par (could be better with boost)
Jump is sub par ( could be better with boost)
Could get burnt off line if playing bump
Agility is horrible
Darryl Roberts 6'0"
College Marshall Drafted 5.7
Can play Zone or man, Will hope for a boot in acceleration
A shot of awareness would be nice
Good speed, Ok acceleration
Good awareness for a rookie.
Weak, won't play bump very well.
Low Jump, won't win the end zone coverage
CB Trent Craig Height 6'0"
College Cincinnati Drafted: 5.30
Craig is one of three corners drafted this year. He is part of the big push to bolster Pass defense.
Craig is a Zone Corner, and yet to be seen if he can transition to Man(rookie boost will help determine this) Will be a camp body.
Will get burnt by fast WRS
Is weak , needs to play soft coverage
Needs work on playbook and awareness
Agility is horrible…
At 5.30, You can't expect much and its for sure we didn't on this pick.
Others Brought in
Ernie Mayes (82) CB#2
Mayes was in from UFA, and truth be told he was brought in for Kick returns. We only spent 3 pts obtaining him with plenty of space in the salary cap.
He has great quickness, and good alertness, it will be hard to get anything by Mayes
He has a strong vertical Jump, which will help against tall WRS
He is smaller then what most people like in this league.
He doesn't have great strength so playing bump and run will be hard for Mayes.
When I get it in my head I am going to fix a Position, I go the exta mile to make sure that its taken care of it, rather its draft a half dozen Tes, draft 2 MLBS, or three CBS.. The Task is done to the best I can. This year it was the pass protection year not only did I trade for a SS( that later I regretted as soon as I drafted SS Matthias Farley, but who knew he'd be there)
Later in the draft I went with three CBS who weren’t exactly the greatest but was in the goal of pass
Protection. These three CBS ill be ok in the zone Defense, and they have a chance of going to man based on getting rookie boost.
