In the beginning, 1996, there was the ECCFL The ECCFL was a Football Pro league that used FBpro'95 - Fbpro'98.  It lasted from 1995 - 1999. That league was forced to shutdown because Sierra totally dropped the ball on FBpro'99 and the title, the best NFL football game on the market... DIED! So where to go? No one in the FBpro community was in the slightest impressed with what Madden Football had to offer. So we did what we had to do. We settled.  Yes, we settled for Madden Football. We settled but we were not complacent. The year was 2000 and the next version of Madden, Madden'01, offered online franchise mode and the game itself was a server so when the Commissioner had his Madden game open and connected to the internet, anyone could login and play. It was pretty cool, but problematic. So we dealt with it and continued to fine-tune the settings and rules system for the best gameplay and league experience possible throughout game versions as they were released. As Madden progressed from year to year, each title had its strengths and weaknesses, but as always, PFL Commissioners worked hard to make the PFL's gameplay as realistic as possible. It is something we've always demanded. You see... We're all football geeks here and seasoned vets, and I mean seasoned. Most of us are in our 40s, 50s, 60's and even a couple in their 70's so if you're looking for flamboyant, loudmouthed rantings that you see on some of these podcasts... well, look elsewhere. We are an organized machine that has been doing this for over a quarter century.  Think about that. The PFL is over a quarter century old. Where else are you going to find that? What you get here is a top-notch, Football gaming experience with plenty of things to keep you entertained. With the return of "True" coach mode gameplay in Madden 27, the PFL is once again at the top of the heap of Madden Football gaming. Before closing, here's something else about the PFL and it's predecessor the ECCFL. We were first to offer a complete virtual football gaming world experience with our league. We offered radio programs, league and team articles and an attractive website before anyone else. What you see here, if you see it elsewhere, it's because they saw it here first with the ECCFL or the PFL. So look around. If you're not in the league and would like to get on our waiting list, click here. We will keep you on file and give you the chance to be a part of this "all-time" great league. Overtime, we've lost some of our valued long time coaches to the fragility of the human body and have endured some bad versions of Madden but we are still going strong, fighting through, and striving to bring you the best Online league experience possible. So check us out! See ya on the gridiron!
