The Upcoming PFL Season: A New Beginning! 🏈

Hello, PFL Family! As we gear up for an exciting new season with Madden '25, we want to share some important updates and set the stage for what promises to be a competitive and enjoyable experience. Let’s dive into the details while keeping our spirits high and our goals clear!

League Layout 🏈

1. Open Teams: We will kick off the season with open teams, aiming for a balanced spread across divisions. Feel free to switch teams if it helps maintain this balance!
2. Simulated Games: If you're playing an open team, expect a straight-up simulation for that game. We want to keep the competition fair and consistent.
3. Human Opponents: Once teams are filled, you will face human opponents instead of being assigned a simulated game.
4. No Shows: If your opponent doesn’t show up, that game will be simmed.

League Settings ⚙️

1. Injury Settings: We’ll start with very light injury settings to keep the focus on gameplay.
2. XP Awards: Experience points will be set to the minimum to ensure a level playing field.
3. Gameplay Sliders: We’ll be playing on All Madden difficulty with strong defensive settings. Adjustments will happen as needed to enhance the gaming experience.
4. Fine-Tuning: Expect ongoing adjustments to sliders throughout the preseason to achieve the best balance.

Gameplay Guidelines 🎮

1. Coach Mode: After the snap, players will not have control over individual players—let’s keep it strategic!
2. Play Cool Down: This will apply mainly to offense and possibly defense to promote thoughtful play.
3. Realistic Play: We will monitor option plays to ensure they are used realistically, preserving the integrity of our competition.

Broadcasts 📺

While there won't be rewards for broadcasting games at this time, we’re considering future incentives! But please, feel free to broadcast at your pleasure. Stay tuned for updates.

Kickoff Details 🚀

1. Season Start: Mark your calendars! We’ll begin Season 1 on Tuesday, September 24th.
2. Preseason: We’ll have a preseason where backups must get some playtime.
3. Injury Policy: Injuries will be turned off during the preseason to give everyone a fair chance.

Rosters 📋

1. Consistent Rosters: We will use the same rosters from version to version—build your team wisely!
2. Roster Changes: Each owner will have the ability to recreate their rosters when the new version is released. Be diligent and honest; our AI system will check for errors to keep the game fair!

Looking Ahead: Beyond Madden 🏈

We’re committed to enjoying at least two full seasons with Madden '25 before potentially transitioning to Maximum Football. Rest assured, we’ll make every effort to recreate our rosters when the time comes!
