Sitting here on a Friday night, wife is working late and sipping on a glass of Glenlivet on the rocks, with thoughts floating around upstairs....
*Wonder what the smirk was on Giselle's face after Tom Brady got home following the Jets game? Somehow I think her crazy radar is better than Tom's, especially by the second week Antonio Brown was walking around in his underwear at night.
*Best line I heard about new Bears Head Coach Matt Eberflus came from Kyle Brandt, who said that Eberflus sounded like a Danish Music Festival. Wonder if they managed to book Bjork or Beck?
*Wonder why Dan Quinn decided not to take a head coaching position elsewhere and stayed as DC in Dallas. On a side note, makes me wonder if Mike McCarthy paused when Jerry sent a pet vulture for his office.
*Is it just a rumor, or did I hear that Aaron Rodgers suggest that he submitted a 5,000 page report to the NFL that would have made the snow go away on his side of the field? And if it were warmer, is it true that Pat McAfee would have worn his wife-beater on the sideline?
*I'm so glad that the sexual harassment pervading the halls of the Washington Football Team is finally gone. Otherwise, they would have had to release emails from Lincoln Riley to make it all better.
*Back to the subject of Mike McCarthy, wonder if it was his wife that told him that the ties Jerry sent him were meant to go with a side of scaffolding.
*Heard a rumor that Trent Baalke was instructed to make peace with Byron Leftwich over dinner in hopes of closing the deal. Just not sure why Baalke traded his reservation at Ruth's Chris for coupons to the Olive Garden though.
