Around the PFL at the Mid Way point

PFL State of the League — Week 8 Write-Up
The Unbeatable Colts
Indianapolis is the story of the season. At 7-0, they sit alone atop the entire PFL, AFC and NFC alike, and look like a team no one has an answer for. The division around them in the AFC South is decent — Tennessee (5-2) is making a real case for a second seed — but the Colts have a two-game cushion and show no signs of slowing down.

AFC Playoff Picture
The AFC is shaping up to be a bloodbath for the bubble spots. Indy and the Jets (6-1) have the top two seeds locked up for now. Baltimore (5-1) has quietly put together one of the conference's most impressive résumés and controls the North. The Chargers (5-3) lead a chaotic AFC West where Las Vegas (4-4), Denver (3-5), and Kansas City (2-5) are all stumbling. Kansas City's 2-5 mark is one of the bigger surprises of the season — they're on the outside looking in.
Pittsburgh (1-6) and Miami (1-6) are effectively eliminated in all but name.
NFC — Arizona's Division to Lose
Arizona is doing what Indy is doing in the AFC — running away from the field at 6-1 behind Kyler Murray, who is among the most productive signal-callers in the league (23 TDs, 2,265 yards). The NFC West is fascinating because Seattle (5-2) is right there breathing down Arizona's neck. At the opposite extreme, the LA Rams are winless at 0-7, the worst record in either conference.

The NFC East is a genuine logjam with Washington (4-2) and Philadelphia (4-2) tied at the top and Dallas (4-3) only a game back. This division will go down to the wire. New Orleans (1-7) is the conference's basement dweller.

Statistical Storylines
Cam Ward is the passing leader at 2,533 yards through 7 games — a pace that has Tennessee's offense humming. Kyler Murray leads everyone in touchdown passes (23), which explains a lot about Arizona's success. On the other end of the spectrum, Caleb Williams' 13 interceptions are a concern for Chicago despite the Bears sitting at 5-3.
Kenneth Walker III is the rushing yards leader at 707 yards, but it's Ashton Jeanty in Las Vegas (666 yards, 5.41 YPC) who's been the most electric back. Rookie Omarion Hampton in LA has also been quietly excellent at 652 yards for the Chargers.
Kyle Pitts is the receiving yards king at 828 yards — a dominant performance for a tight end. Marvin Harrison Jr. is second at 751 yards (22.76 YPC), showing elite big-play ability in Arizona's offense.
Transaction Buzz
Baltimore has been the most active team in recent transactions, adding a wave of veterans including Leonard Floyd, Mike Danna, A'Shawn Robinson, Tyler Higbee, and Chuck Clark. It looks like a roster being built for a deep playoff run. The Falcons also overhauled their kicking/punting game, cutting Nick Folk and Ryan Wright to bring in Justin Tucker and Daniel Whelan. The Colts added Aaron Jones (83 OVR) alongside Devin Neal to create a loaded backfield.

Game of the Week
All eyes are on Philadelphia (4-2) vs. Jacksonville (4-3) — a bubble matchup with real playoff seeding implications. Jaguars owner cruiser87 needs a win to stay in the hunt; a loss drops JAX to .500 and into dangerous territory.
