EA describes Coach Mode as a different way to experience Madden: the CPU handles the action after the snap while the coach controls the decisions before the play.

That's exactly what makes the PFL different.

You aren't controlling a running back.

You aren't scrambling around with your quarterback.

You aren't trying to exploit your opponent's controller skills.

You're the coach.

You build the team.

You manage the roster.

You make personnel decisions.

You prepare for your opponent.

A willingness to manage a team.

A desire to compete.

And the commitment to actually be an owner.
