Eagles fly into Soldier field to continue their rivalary with the Bears.  After forcing the Eagles to punt, Chicago drives 78 yds for a TD. Then the game becomes a punting duel.  Late in the 1st quarter, Chicago's offense finds more success reaching the Philadelphia 18.  But the Eagles D stiffens holding the Bears to a FG early in the 2nd quarter.  A few more punts from two teams that are primarily built around D.  Philadelphia finds their wings through a couple of short passes that end up covering over 50 yds reaching the Chicago 21.  But the Bears D only allows a FG making it 10-3 Chicago with 6:50 until halftime.  After exchanging punts, Chicago has the ball on their own 9 with 1:28 left.  The plan is to run out the clock.  Handoff to Mattison who finds a crease, he crosses the 25 .. the 30 .. and he FUMBLES ... picked up by Jimmie Ward .. AND HE COULD GO ALL THE WAY ...  Just like that the score is tied.  Bears are forced to punt.  Rodgers tries to get them into FG range, but they run out of time.  Bears are a bit deflated going into halftime.

Bears receive to start the second half.  Much like their first drive of the game, they go 75yds for a TD to regain the lead.  Eagles start to drive down the field.  Later in the drive Rodgers hits Moore on a short pass who reaches the Chicago 34 AND HE FUMBLES ..  the BEARS RECOVER.  The play though is subject to review.  The Eagles have a 34% chance of the play being overturned and it is.  The crowd boos.  Philly continues their drive into the endzone tieing the game at 17.  After a CHicago punt, the Eagles start driving as we enter the 4th quarter.  They reach the Chicago 22 and face a 4th and 2.  Coach Main keeps the offense on the field.  Rodgers back to pass .. and it's batted away.  The Bears D holds.  After a couple of punts, Chicago has the ball on their own 36 with 7:24 left.They reach the Philadelphia 38 with 4:35 left.  Then consecutive penalties make it 1st and 25 from the Chicago 47.  They are able to gain 15 yds and face a 3rd and 10.  Hurts tries to turn the corner but gains only 4 yds.  It's 4th and 6 on the Eagle 34 with 3:33 left.  They would be kicking into a moderate wind.  They keep the offense on the field.  Hurts surveys the defense and debates calling an audible.  Coach Calvin turns into Coach Chicken and calls a timeout deciding to punt.  A nice punt puts Philadelphia on their own 3 with 3:19 to go.  They reach their own 27 with 1:56 remaining.  Rodgers tosses 3 incompletions so they must punt.  Chicago starts on their own 26 with 1:24 left.  They continue with Coach Chicken calling 3 runs and are forced to punt.  Philadelphia starts on their own 30 with 42 ticks left and no timeouts.  2 plays later they are on their own 47 with 18 seconds to go.  Rodgers back to pass, throws down the field ... INCOMPLETE - BUT THERE's a flag - PASS INTERFERENCE is called.  Elliot makes a FG with 7 seconds left and that's it.  Another classic of a game between these teams.
