Ravens grounded |
Len coming off a tough Cowboy season in the PAFL finds these Cowboys as a Super Bowl contender in the PSAFL, Joe decided a rebuild was in order for the Ravens. Cowboys should win rather easily. DAL 31 BAL 10 |

Look! Up in the sky! It's a Braven! |
Baltimore traded many key parts to the Browns whom I now refer to as the Bravens. The Bravens are a formidable team to match up against. Packers are not quite up to their previous standards. While they can't be taken for granted, I suspect the Bravens take off with a win to start Shawn's final season in the PSAFL. CLV 27 GB 9 |

Bengals on the prowl |
Cincinnati with a very solid club on both sides of the ball. Washington though is always ready to fight for Coach Andy. On the road, the Bengals better not take this game lightly. CIN 24 WAS 17 |

In memory of Pete |
Brendan took over Pete's former team and is looking to start the new year strong. The Giants have a formidable defense through which either Zach Wilson or Kenny Pickett will need to lead the troups. Start the countdown to fans wanting Anthony Richardson starting. NY 24 PIT 3 |

Jason building methodically |
Jason took over a Jacksonville team that was in despair. He has begun a slow rebuilding process. The Eagles are lead by Brock Purdy with several nice offensive weapons at his disposal. The hometown faithful should have plenty of reason to celebrate at this game. PHI 34 JAX 6 |

Can the Bills repeat? |
Last year's champions start the year on the road facing the rebuilding 49ers. While this will make for a longer season, Shawn is a proven coach who will get San Fran back on their feet soon. Expect Buffalo to dominate this game. BUF 38 SF 13 |

More Minshew Mania |
Gardner signed with the Pats this offseason and looks to lead a very nice Patriots attack. The Vikings, our Super Bowl 1 Champion, also boast a solid offense. Minnesota DBs are somewhat better than New England's. Patriots running game is better. A true toss up. I'm a sucker for Minshew mania. NE 24 MIN 23 |

By Land or by Sea |
The recently abandoned Miami squad should be competitive throughout the season. Many moons ago, I played in an APBA Football league with Collin. He was a strong owner in the OFL. He still looks strong here. Rams have Love and Adams leading the office with a powerful defense in what could be Donald's last year. I'll take the team that travels on land who also won the Super Bowl in our second season. LAR 28, MIA 17

Does simulation gaming experience matter? |
Another APBA football veteran is new to the PSAFL. Dave is molding the Titans by blending experience (Russell Wilson) with prime time talent (A.J. Brown) spinkling in a dash of youth (Kyle Hamilton). For the Lions, Keith is new to Action. He has shown a keen level of player evaluation and has taken the path of rebuilding Detroit from the ground up. Should be a tight contest with the Titans getting the nod. TEN 20 DET 13 |

Things are looking up |
The Colts had a trying season last year winning only 1 game. C.J. Stroud was their prize and it's definitely a new year in Indianapolis. Colts are a very strong team on both sides of the ball. Seahawks also took their lumps last year. Both of these teams should make the playoffs this year. I'll pick the Colts, IND 27 SEA 20 |

Battle of Commissioners, Past and Present |
The PSAFL was created by Doug (note if you're not happy with your current roster, it's Doug's fault not mine ). Chiefs have been the dominant regular season team every year. This is not expected to change this year. The post season has been a different story as KC has only reached the Super Bowl once where the Vikings pulled off an upset. Buccaneers have been a solid team with last year's squad exceeding my expectations to reach the Super Bowl before falling to Buffalo. This is a regular season game where the Chiefs dominate, KC 31 TB 17 |

Chargers looking to electrify the Bayou |
Eric Linder has assembled another playoff team. Chargers have a lot of options on offense. Their defense is better than average. The Chargers have to find a way to get past their nemesis, the Kansas City Chiefs. Tim's Saints are led by Trevor Lawrence. The Saints offense is Trevor Lawrence. Did I mention Trevor Lawrence on offense ? Not sure the Saints can score enough as the Chargers start the season strong LAC 30 NO 10 |

The team nobody wanted |
Da Raiders were our last open team to be filled. The Commish operated them through the rookie draft and free agency. I guess people didn't like their QBs. But this is not some terrible neglected team that Jason is taking over. Ridder/O'Connell have nice receivers while Jacobs is not up to his usual standards. Raider defense is rather average. The Panthers also have rather bland QBs. Carolina has McCaffery and nice receiving options. The Panther defense is more stout that the visitors. Rudy making progress |
Rusy is another valuable owner in the PSAFL as he is in the middle of resuscitating the Texans. The general on offense is Baker Mayfield. They use a RB committee and WR committee. Defense is a led by Devon Witherspoon. The Bears have Justin Fields on a prove-it contract. David Montgomery and their WRs provide plenty of options for Mr Fields. Bears have a solid defense. An interesting game to call. Does Justin Fields show up or not. In a minor upset, HOU 24 CHI 23 |
