NFC West - Playoff Outlook |
NFC West features the last remaining undefeated team in the PSAFL and 2 solid playoff contenders. Here is how I rank each individual team's playoff chances. |

Class of the NFC |
Los Angeles (12-0) has been a machine. They have 2 very tough games remaining against AFC powerhouses Cincinnati (11-1) and Cleveland (8-4) which coincidently are their last 2 games of the season. Could one of these games be a Super Bowl preview? In season 2, these same Rams (13-4) defeated the Browns in the Super Bowl. Will be interesting to see how the rest of this year unfolds for Los Angeles. |

Flying towards a Wild Card berth |
Seattle (7-5) is in the hunt for a Wild Card berth. Seahawks have 1 tough game left against the Eagles (8-4). Seattle will be 10+ point favorites against Chicago (2-7), Detroit (1-8), and Minnesota (3-6) who they play twice. Seattle has a floor of 11 wins which should secure an invite to the playoff dance. |

Still in the Wild Card hunt |
San Francisco (6-6) sits one game behind Seattle. But in the 49ers favor, they have already defeated the Seahawks once and have an upcoming rematch with them. They have another key game against Carolina (6-5) which could factor in any tie-breaker for a Wild Card birth. Detroit is their easiest game remaining. If they can get hot and win 3 in a row the 49ers might find some gold and a playoff birth.
