We will begin
preseason play with the actual REDI-SET franchise file by the end of
this week (FEB 19th). It is important that each of you perform the
tasks on the
New owner tasks page and pay attention to the points below.
Especially adding Whatsapp and its 2 REDI-SET rooms. That is
vital.
When told, you will be ask to promptly join the real
Franchise.
Read the points below and if needed, do one at a time and
return to this often to make sure you've completed all.
Things to do
1) Report Gameplay: During the preseason, always report your gameplay findings
here after you've played your game to give us your opinion on
gameplay. Is passing too hard...easy? Defense secondary too
stupid? etc...
2) Check your Info: Check your info on the owners page, (password protected,
ask me for the pw if needed), and the
game channel page. Do we have
your broadcast channel listed?
3) Broadcasting: Have you started a Twitch page or You Tube channel for
broadcasting? If not, try to do that. Broadcasting is not mandatory
but you collect a lot of training camp points for broadcasting,
especially with your controller overlay. You do not have to
broadcast live but you should upload the video once the game is
over. Complete instructions to broadcast is on the Game channels
page as well.
4) Fullbacks: Teams that do not have a FB on their roster may add one.
I will order teams their FB draft order based on team OVR. I will post a
forum post for teams to respond to with instructions when I have
settled draft order. DO NOT sign FAs. Not until the
season starts and then, you MUST bid on players 70 OVR or higher.
Once signed, Drafted, edited FBs will receive their blocking boosts and edits.
Remember, Edited FBs will be edited to be good blockers and possibly
short pattern routes, but can loose speed or other attributes. Team
owners signing players illegally will be penalized. So don't do it.
5) What to Expect: We are playing on All-Madden-mode and
sliders are set to make offense tough. That is what I want to start.
It is far easier to open up the offense with slider settings than it
is to tighten it down. We will have a few weeks of preseason and
then it is the regular season. For this reason I want everyone to
try to play the preseason games and report their findings so I can tweak the
offense to be realistic and also have smart defenses where it is
appropriate.
